Job description

PipeCare Group [UAE] is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Lead [Salesforce software expert] .

By providing technology and service focused solutions to the international arena of the oil and gas industry, the PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years.

Position summary :

Technical Sales Lead [Salesforce software expert] will be able to provide innovative solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations, while having a strong customer focus and outstanding sales skills.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities :

  • Analyzing current sales procedures to pinpoint inefficiencies.
  • Implementing Salesforce tools to streamline, provide training and optimize sales workflows, ensuring the quality of input data for enhanced accuracy.
  • Collaborating with the CEO and Territory Director to develop and execute a comprehensive sales improvement strategy.
  • Providing ongoing support and training to the sales team on Salesforce processes, aiming to improve the quality of their input.
  • Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators to measure the success of implemented changes.
  • Document & track all associated inquiries received from clients.
  • Ensure that all new inquiries are assigned to proper project number.
  • Obtain approval to bid or decline.
  • Review cost estimate and propose a price for the project.
  • Review technical proposals and submit to Sales director.
  • To prepare technical proposal of strategic projects and submit to Sales Director.
  • Review bid bond requirements.
  • Coordinate with other departments within PIPECARE during the bidding or prequalification stage.
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure all the logistics requirements and terms and conditions associated with mobilization and demobilization is properly identified and understood.
  • Request Operations to conduct the site survey if appropriate.
  • Update customer information and Corporate EMS : create enquiries timely; follow the sales flow chart while bidding for a job; transfer the project timely after PIPECARE confirms the order to the client;
  • Provide all relevant or requested reports to VP and / or country manager and sales director.
  • Submit the weekly and monthly reports to territory VP and sales manager.
  • Ensure all the related communications associated with the new inquires is communicated to the territory Vice President / country manager.
  • Ensure that all the tender documents are properly read and understood for the client requirements or the scope of service.
  • Ensure all the inquiries are responded on timely basis.
  • Ensure that complete bids are submitted on time or before the target due date.
  • Ensure the project transfers are carried out within 2 days of the receipt of confirmation from clients.
  • Achieve the agreed sales targets.
  • Maintain good relationship with customers.
  • Executes other tasks as per request of Sales and Marketing Director and other Executive Team members.
  • To review the key components of technical and commercial proposal before release from technical sales engineers.
  • Address all the technical, commercial & administrative concerns of technical sales engineers.
  • Distribute the enquiries within technical sales team evenly.
  • Escalate all the internal department approval delays to sales director.
  • Assist BDMs in commercial related matters.
  • Daily check for any new tenders on global e-tender portal and forward to concerned BDM & Sales Director.

Qualification :

  • BS / MS degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience / exposure with sound commercial skills preferably with MBA degree.
  • Further qualifications or extended course experience in commercial activities
  • Language skills, particularly English, any other languages may be advantageous.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid technical knowledge of ILI products and applicable industry standards.
  • Experience within the Oil and Gas sector (preferably) or service project-based companies.
  • Minimum of 5-years’ experience in commercial and technical tender preparations & monitoring.
  • Good Selling Capability.
  • Knowledge of commercial aspects of organization.

Physical and Mental Requirements :

  • Lifting and Carrying : Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Mobility : Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
  • Communication : Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
  • Focus and Multitasking : Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  • Safety Equipment : Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if / where needed in manufacturing environments.
  • Personal Mobility and Reflexes : Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.

In-Line Inspection Services

PIPECARE provides In-Line Inspection Services to locate, identify, and size threats, supporting integrity management requirements.

Inspection Technologies

Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) : Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss anomalies, especially circumferentially oriented.

Transverse Field Inspection (TFI) : Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss anomalies, primarily axially oriented.

Ultrasound (UT) : Detects and sizes general and other metal loss anomalies with high depth sizing accuracy.

Ultrasonic Crack Detection : Detects and sizes cracks and colonies of cracks.

Caliper (Geometry) : Detects and sizes deviations in the ideal circular shape of a pipeline (dents, ovalities, wrinkles, etc.).

Combo Tools : Use multiple measurement systems in various combinations.

Specialized Tubing Technologies : Designed for Furnace and Downhole Operations.
