POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure staff works together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs. Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify any deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking doors. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. Complete scheduled inventories and requisition supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating, service safety, and guest well-being. Complete work orders for maintenance and repairs.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy. Follow all company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are professional; maintain confidentiality and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards, anticipate and address needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop and maintain positive relationships, support team efforts, and respond appropriately to employee concerns. Ensure quality standards are met and suggest improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings. Read and verify information in various formats. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform fine motor tasks. Navigate narrow or elevated spaces, stairs, or ramps. Reach overhead and below knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None required.
