The role of the Executive Assistant (EA) is to provide critical administrative support to the Principal and Partners of the company, undertaking functions to ensure operational, project-based, and business development requirements are met effectively and efficiently.
The EA should be self-motivated, exercising independent judgment, while also working as part of a team to provide cover and assistance when needed. They will act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, managing multi-tasking duties related to reception and supporting the leadership team.
The position requires thorough knowledge of the leadership team's business needs, maintaining a working knowledge of the firm, relevant practice areas, and the industry. Support requirements are often confidential, demanding discretion and professionalism.
The EA will liaise with internal and external contacts, managing correspondence, emails, and calls professionally. Responsibilities include drafting communications, reports, presentations, managing calendars, arranging travel, and supporting business development activities.
Additional duties involve managing timesheets, expenses, onboarding new partners, supporting performance management processes, and participating in firm-building activities such as events and outreach programs.
