A financial services company in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Business Analyst – Collections to analyze data and enhance credit collections. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, be familiar with credit lending operations, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, developing KPIs, and implementing collection strategies. This role offers an opportunity to drive insights and optimize recovery rates.
Role Summary We are looking for an experienced to Business Analyst – Collections tojoin our team.The Business Analyst – Collections will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve credit collections and lending operations. The role requires strong business intelligence expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and a solid understanding of credit life cycle, lending products, and collection strategies.
Work with stakeholders across Credit, Collections, and Business Intelligence to analyze business challenges and recommend solutions.
Leverage business intelligence tools and data analytics to identify portfolio risks, delinquency trends, and opportunities for process improvements.
Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor collection performance and drive strategy execution.
Support the design and implementation of collection strategies that optimize recovery rates and minimize credit losses.
Conduct root cause analysis for portfolio issues and propose effective corrective measures.
Collaborate with IT, product, and operations teams to translate business requirements into system enhancements.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and lending industry best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Experience working in fintech, banking, or NBFC environment.
Familiarity with credit bureau data and regulatory frameworks in lending.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Credit, Lending, or Collections domain.
Strong business intelligence and data analytics background (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Solid understanding of credit life cycle, loan origination, and collections processes.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex business challenges.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical and operational solutions.
