About the role

As a QA Tester you will ensure that software or features meet certain quality standards and function correctly. QA testers are responsible for identifying, reporting and resolving defects, bugs and other issues during the stages of software development and deployment. Overall, the role of a QA tester is critical in ensuring that software or products are reliable, high-quality, and meet our user expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications
• Executing test cases (manual or automated) and analyzing results
• Creating logs to document testing phases and defects
• Reporting bugs and errors to development teams
• Helping troubleshoot issues
• Conducting pre-release/post-implementation testing
• Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Performing stress, functional, and scalability testing
• Monitoring applications and software systems
• Providing objective feedback to software development project teams

Key Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or in a related field
• 1-3 years of experience as a tester or similar role
• Certification in Software Testing is a plus
• Strong preference for candidates with some experience in automation testing for mobile apps and backend services
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Appium, Postman, or similar frameworks (to be able to build and maintain automated regression suites) will be considered as a plus
