The Department of Finance (DOF) for the Government of Dubai supervises all financial and accounting affairs of the Government of Dubai, in addition to issuing consolidated financial statements for the emirate's government. DOF is responsible for the development of the government's general annual budget, providing liquidity, overseeing financial resources, and verifying the collection of general revenues.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as the Head of Tax Operations located in Dubai. The role involves overseeing tax planning, tax compliance, indirect taxation, tax law, and tax operations on a day-to-day basis within the department of finance.

Qualifications

UAE nationals only

• Tax Planning and Tax Compliance skills
• Expertise in Indirect Taxation and Tax Law
• Strong understanding of Tax Operations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Experience in a government financial setting is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
