Zusammenfassung
A vehicle service company in Johannesburg is looking for a skilled technician with at least 3 years of experience in trailer and suspension repairs. Responsibilities include the removal and replacement of various trailer components and the adjustment of brakes. The ideal candidate must be bilingual and able to work long hours under pressure. This role requires extensive knowledge of air systems and practical experience with trailer suspension.
Qualifikationen
- Must have 3 years’ experience in a related field.
- Ability to remove and repair trailer components effectively.
Aufgaben
- Remove and replace axles, air boosters, and other components.
- Adjust brakes and brake shoes.
- Diagnose and repair S-Cam bushes and slack adjusters.
Kenntnisse
- Removal and replacement of axles, air boosters, air valves and pipes, drums, springs, etc.
- Preload wheel bearings.
- Adjust brakes and brake shoes.
- Extensive knowledge of air system.
- Remove, diagnose and repair S-Cam bushes, slack adjusters, etc.
- Knowledge of torque arm bushes.
- Must have extensive practical experience and knowledge of the entire trailer and running suspension below deck.
- 3 years’ experience,
- Fully bilingual,
- Own transport,
- Able to work long hours and under pressure.
