Descripción de la vacante
A recruitment agency is looking for a procurement specialist with over 10 years of MRO purchasing experience, particularly in consumables and maintenance services. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of cost breakdown analysis and supplier management within South Africa, as well as proficiency in advanced Excel and strategic sourcing tools. Experience in the automotive field is preferred.
Formación
- 10+ years experience in MRO purchases including consumables and services.
- Strong knowledge in cost breakdown analysis for negotiations.
- Experience in developing and managing a supplier base in South Africa.
Responsabilidades
- Negotiate costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and compliance.
- Utilize strategic sourcing tools for effective procurement.
Conocimientos
- Knowledge of MRO purchases, mainly consumables, maintenance, logistic, PPE, spare parts and services (10 + years experience)
- Knowledge of cost breakdown analisys to support negotiation as well identify cost reduction opportunities
- Development and management of MRO supplier base in South Africa; Knowledge and experience of supplier base of South Africa
- Experience on automotive field
- Advanced excel
- Strong knowledge of Strategic Sourcing Tools
- International purchasing experience (mainly with Europe)
- Previously experience on manufacturing, planning, engineering or mainitenance areas
