A leading travel solutions provider in Durban is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth in the B2B travel industry. The role involves expanding market presence and strengthening relationships with travel agencies. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of travel sales experience and a valid South African driving license. This high-travel position requires frequent field visits to various agencies in the region.

- Develop and grow the B2B travel market through targeted outreach.

- Provide onboarding, training, and support to existing B2B clients.
- Manage travel agent relationships and follow up on quotes and inquiries.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with strong B2B travel industry experience to drive business growth in the region. The role focuses on expanding market presence, strengthening relationships with travel agencies, generating new business, and providing product training and support. This is a high-travel role requiring consistent in-person visits to agencies across Durban and surrounding areas.
- Develop and grow the B2B travel market through targeted outreach and relationship-building.
- Strengthen product positioning and regional branding.
- Generate new sales opportunities and form strategic affiliations.
- Provide onboarding, training, and support to existing B2B clients.
- Manage travel agent relationships and follow up on quotes and inquiries.
- Expand the client network by acquiring new agency partners.
- Coordinate with internal operations teams for pre-sales requirements.
- Maintain strong knowledge of regional travel trade, destinations, and outbound markets.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Travel Industry.
- Proven B2B travel sales experience.
- Background in Business Development and Account Management.
- Knowledge of outbound destinations and local travel trade.
- Ability to communicate in English and local languages.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, Internet).
- Valid South African Driving License (Mandatory).
- Must NOT be from companies such as OYO, Airbnb, Cruise operators, etc.
- Experience working with airlines or large travel agencies.
- IATA Certification.
- Strong network of local travel agents, hotels, and destination partners.
