Your Purpose

As a Sales Support Coordinator for Drive South Africa and 4x4 Hire, you’ll be the operational backbone of our sales function, ensuring clients receive prompt, accurate, and caring service while supporting consultants and maintaining data integrity.

Your Core Responsibilities
📞 Client Communication & Service
  • Manage the WhatsApp channel, responding promptly with accurate information.
  • Handle incoming client quotations, queries, complaints, and feedback across phone, email, and social media.
  • Share and monitor customer reviews daily, ensuring follow‑up action where needed.
  • Provide pre‑travel WhatsApp engagement and check‑ins during client journeys.
📋 Bookings & Administration
  • Process vehicle bookings and confirm supplier details.
  • Ensure invoices match quotes and capture all information accurately.
  • Issue confirmations and travel documentation to clients. Collect flight details and balance payments from renters.
  • Circulate renter information to suppliers prior to travel.
📊 Sales Support & Operations
  • Load and update products/services in the CRM.
  • Calculate consultant commissions and prepare for approval.
  • Step in for consultants on leave to ensure seamless service.
  • Assist with trade shows and exhibitions when required.
  • Weekend Duty on a rotational basis.
🤝 Team Contribution
  • Support colleagues with clients and bookings during absences.
  • Maintain open, honest, and professional communication with the team.
  • Contribute to a culture of positivity, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Matric (tertiary qualification in travel/tourism is an advantage).
  • 2+ years’ administrative or sales support experience in tourism.
  • 3 years’ customer service experience (face‑to‑face or telesales).
  • Strong database administration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Afrikaans an advantage).
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Google Workspace (Tourplan knowledge a plus).
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability.
  • Calm, professional, and adaptable in high‑pressure situations.
  • A valid driver’s license and own transport.
