Job Summary :

We're seeking a well-seasoned Deployment Team Leader to manage our Taxi Connect Operations in Gauteng.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a fleet of drivers, driver controllers, and a B2B sales team.

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in admin work, operations management, supervising a team, and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities :

Fleet Management

Oversee the daily operations of drivers, ensuring compliance with operational processes and regulations.

Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet utilization, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Manage and resolve customer complaints.

Lead and manage a team of driver controllers and drivers.

Provide training, coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure the team meets performance targets.

Manage the control room team and system administrators to ensure timely delivery of orders and proper use of tech systems.

Operations Management

Ensure the achievement of company objectives and KPIs.

Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement, optimize processes, and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Optimize driver routes and manage customer order deliveries.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless daily operations.

Prepare presentations, reports, and data analyses to support departmental functions.

Customer Service

Develop and implement strategies to ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.

Foster strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.

Resolve customer complaints promptly.

Communicate risks and insights within the business to key stakeholders.

Requirements :

Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or equivalent.

Experience : Minimum 5 years in courier, logistics management, or e-commerce, including supervisory experience.

Skills : Strong leadership, data analysis, problem-solving, and proficiency in MS Office.

Personal Attributes : Self-management, results-driven, customer-centric.
