A leading university in South Africa seeks a Senior Lecturer in Public Management and Leadership. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in research. A PhD in Public Administration or Management is required, along with teaching experience and evidence of research publications. Contribute to existing undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the discipline of Public Administration.
POSITION INFO: CORE PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for teaching and learning, research, community engagement, administration and management within the Department of Public Management and Leadership (PML). To provide support to the department / faculty in the revitalization of humanities and in pursuit the department’s academic objectives. Responsibilities may also include curriculum development, monitoring and evaluation of modules / programmes, student academic development, administration, quality assurance, work integrated learning, academic management, and fostering disciplinary and interdisciplinary networks.
