Essential Health Pharmacy - Claremont is recruiting for a Retail Manager. The main purpose of this role is to enhance shopper experience and to function as the liaison between management and customers. The Retail Manager will manage the day-to-day optimal functioning of the store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel, motivating them to reach their maximum capacity.

Minimum Requirement - Essential:

1. Grade 12 | Matric with Math 50% | Math Lit 60% | Languages 50%
2. Minimum of 3 years management role with relevant work experience.
3. Sound numerical skills
4. Computer literate – MS Office
5. Willing and able to work retail hours

Advantageous:

1. 3 years’ work experience, with 2-year supervisory experience

Job Specification:

1. Daily opening and/or closing of store with the Pharmacy manager/Pharmacist.
2. Ensure that queues flow smoothly through the aisle at till points.
3. Organise all store operations and responsibilities to personnel.
4. Manage the shorts and overs at the points of sale, including floats.
5. Control the store budgets aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
6. Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store's reputation.
7. Stock control overseeing key focal points receiving, invoices, returns, expired stock, cycle counts, to follow.
8. Merchandising, oversee and ensure that product displays are professionally packed.
9. Manage staff complaints, training, and upliftment.
