Contract Mine Planner: Commissioning Phase Scheduling
Job summary
A leading mining recruitment firm is looking for a Project Mine Planner for a fixed-term contract in the Northern Cape. This role involves developing mine plans for the commissioning phase and requires at least 8 years of experience in mine planning. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering and proficiency in mine planning software. Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of mine planning principles are essential for success in this position.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in mine planning, preferably in the commissioning phase.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement mine plans and schedules for the commissioning phase.
- Monitor and report on mine production, costs, and progress.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
