Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Cape Town is seeking a Demand, Capacity & Production Planner to ensure alignment between customer demand, production capacity, and resources. This role involves analyzing forecasts, managing production schedules, and driving efficiency on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Supply Chain, 3-5 years of experience in production planning, and proficiency in ERP/MRP systems. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in production planning, demand planning, or supply chain management (manufacturing preferred).
• Knowledge of capacity planning, manufacturing processes, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate sales forecasts into a rolling demand plan.
• Assess production capacity against demand.
• Highlight capacity gaps and recommend solutions.
• Translate demand plans into executable production schedules.
• Track and report on KPIs.
