A leading South African retail company is seeking a skilled operations manager to lead and manage production operations in Johannesburg. This role involves ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with health and safety standards while championing Lean principles. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in a production or warehouse environment, coupled with strong leadership capabilities. This position emphasizes developing people and driving continuous improvement in operations.
Qualificações
- 5–7 years’ experience in a production or warehouse environment with proven leadership capability.
Responsabilidades
- Lead daily production operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and optimal workflow.
- Deliver against departmental KPIs while focusing on cost control.
- Implement, monitor, and continuously improve SOPs.
- Use data to reduce downtime and boost throughput.
- Coach and mentor supervisors and emerging talent.
- Ensure compliance with the OSH Act and internal safety standards.
