Main job function

Weaving Manager will manage the Weaving and Weaving Preparation operations to ensure that the required standards of Productivity, Quality, Service and Safety are always aligned with or exceed stated KPIs.

The Weaving Manager will work closely with PD & Design to ensure that technical considerations are taken into account up-front during the development process prior to proposals being offered to the client.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recognized Diploma (Textile Technology / Engineering). Prior Learning may also be recognized in this regard.
• Post graduate certifications in production management and SHEQ would be a distinct advantage.
• Working knowledge of Management Systems (e.g Lean Sigma, Integrated Management Systems – ISO 9001; 14001; 45001)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Weaving Manager role within a textile manufacturing operation.
• A solid track record in leading and managing in a manufacturing environment – vertical textiles manufacturing experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of applicable industry legislation and regulatory framework, including experience in their application.
• Comprehensive experience in people leadership and stakeholders’ management
