Marking of assessments providing timeous and constructive feedback to students.
Development of ICE activities, learning material such as manuals, assessment instruments and rubrics and memoranda as required.
Participation in peer review of the marking and lecturing of other lecturers; and
Participation in lecturing quality assurance and development associated with own teaching.
May be required to internally moderate assessments scripts that fall within the respective subject fields, where necessary across IIE sites of delivery.
Assist where required with the experiential learning of students in their programme.
Conduct student support interventions where required.
Appropriate academic administration as required.
Involvement with Teaching and Learning activities, including onboarding, peer reviews, internal moderation and the production of a teaching portfolio.
Consultation with students to provide academic support.
Engagement in review and improvement and quality assurance activities of the IIE's School of Engineering, Science and Health.
Adherence to institutional norms, standards, policies, and processes; and
Development of academic material and assessments on programmes as required, including, but not limited to, the roles of developer, moderator or equivalent for the Central Academic Team (CAT)
Monday to Friday : 08:00 - subject to module scheduling.
