Qualifications

• National Certificate in Dental Nursing or NVQ Level 3 in Oral Healthcare Portfolio completed and signed.
• Registration with General Dental Council.
• Ability to organise own workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side assistance to dental staff and students.
• Prepare instruments and materials for treatment.
• Provide care for patients undergoing treatments.
• Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
• Provide clinical supervision to student dental nurses.
