Management Accountant jobs in South Africa

Our client in Stellenbosch is looking for an Accountant to join their ever expanding FMCG business.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Take responsibility for the following accounting functions :
• Preparing for month end reporting process and preparing of journals
• Reviewing of monthly debtors age analysis
• Reviewing of monthly creditors age analysis
• Reviewing and balancing of daily cash book
• Preparing monthly cash book reconciliations
• Preparing monthly company credit card reconciliations
• Reviewing and balancing of factory shop Point of sale transactions
• Submitting monthly VAT returns
• Month end Syspro roll over
• Updating fixed asset register monthly
• Year-end external audit preparation
• Preparing for Ad hoc SARS audits
• Preparing for annual BEEE audit
• Reviewing motor vehicle claims submitted to insurance
• Reviewing annual motor vehicle license renewal process
• Role will involve close working relationship with financial manager, other members of the finance team, external auditors, insurance company and banks

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Degree in Finance or equivalent
• 3-5 years working experience in a similar role. Ideally FMCG environment.
• Good Understanding of ERP systems, SYSPRO, Banking Systems, SARS
• Systematic and accurate demeanour
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines
• Dependable and great work ethic

SALARY

R35000 – R40000 CTC
