Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities

Plan, develop and control all aspects associated with the completion of all local statutory reporting and tax issues, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets Management, Bank Reconciliations, managing tax issues, and dealing with Internal and External Auditors.

Prepare and manage the process of Group Accounts for statutory filing.

Produce monthly, quarterly and yearly Financial Statements (Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet, Bank Reconciliation, Cash Flow Statements and other financial reports) as required by management and local statutory institutions.

To provide timely management information and to advise senior management.

Ensure timely filling of government reports (Corporate tax, NPS, PAYE, VAT, TDS...) and related annual filings.

Oversee and review posting of entries into accounting system.

Ensure timely payment by debtors and to creditors.

Monitoring of cash flow of organization and ensuring assets are adequately safeguarded.

Ensure safe and sound internal controls and systems are in place.

Monthly meetings to analyze variance comparison for actuals against budget, providing explanation to management.

Organise and finalise inventory processes (stock take, surprise checks) for applicable BUs.

Candidate Profile

ACCA / CA qualified

At least 5 years working experience.

Accounting standards, IAS, IFRS, Costing techniques
