Credit Intelligence Analyst I
Job summary
A leading bank in South Africa is seeking an analyst to optimize credit intelligence performance and minimize risk. The role involves conducting complex data analysis, proposing solutions, and collaborating on statistical models. Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Statistics and 2-4 years of relevant experience. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential. Qualifications
- 2-4 years’ experience in retail credit analysis (including SQL programming, diagnostic analytics, statistical modelling and data visualisation).
- In case of Honours degree: 1-3 years’ experience in retail credit analysis (including SQL programming and descriptive analytics).
Responsibilities
- Independently conduct complex quantitative data analysis.
- Propose and execute solutions based on analytical outputs.
- Work with senior team members to build statistical models informing credit decisions.

To optimise credit intelligence performance, and minimise credit risk through:

Minimum:
- 2-4 years’ experience in retail credit analysis (including SQL programming, diagnostic analytics, statistical modelling and data visualisation).

- Portfolio specific experience

- A relevant post‑graduate qualification in Finance or Statistics
