Conduct quality credit assessments, make responsible risk decisions within personal mandate levels, and maintain an assigned credit portfolio of clients for Business Bank Commercial (Growth, Premium, and High Value Banking) in accordance with Absa credit policies, processes, and procedures.

• Perform quality credit sanctioning within the Operational Level Agreement (OLA), considering risks, solutions-driven approaches, and compliance requirements.

• Proactively maintain and manage the assigned portfolio within agreed KPIs.
• Report high-risk accounts accurately and promptly.
• Provide credit solutions for the timely rehabilitation of delinquent accounts and initiate transfers to Business Support and/or Legal Recovery Services (LRS) for groups/accounts that cannot be rehabilitated normally.

• Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrate client engagement and add value at every interaction.
• Contribute to the upskilling and mentoring of front-line colleagues.

• Apply high standards of controls and risk management practices, fostering a positive risk and control culture.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Identify, assess, and report risks from significant events, investigations, audits, and control issues.
• Exercise prudence, sound judgment, and appropriate escalation in managing all relevant risks.

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas in Business, Commerce, and Management Studies are required.
