Job summary
A global logistics leader located in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced professional to oversee processes and resources in tyre management. Responsibilities include managing the tyre lifecycle, supplier relations, and budget reporting. Ideal candidates will have an honours degree and substantial operational leadership experience, demonstrating strong budgeting and people management skills. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to effective operations and enhanced customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Up to 8 years of experience in a similar environment.
- At least 5 years of operational leadership or specialist experience.
- Proficient budgeting and cost management knowledge and/or skill.
Responsibilities
- Manage the processes, teams, and resources for the tyre bay.
- Define standard operating procedures and manage end-to-end processes.
- Establish and manage agreements with tyre suppliers.
