Requirements
- Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Diagnostic Radiographer in Radiography. Completion of Community service in Diagnostic Radiography is necessary. Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a Diagnostic Radiographer. Current registration with HPCSA for 2025/2026. Knowledge in handling of Trauma patients. No experience required after completion of community service in Radiography. Knowledge/Competence/Skills: Knowledge of relevant public service regulations, legislation, policies, acts and procedures. Computer literacy (Ms Word, Ms. Excel). Compliance with Radiographic Quality Assurance, National Core Standards, Health and Safety and Infection Control principles. Good written and communication skills. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Must have a good understanding of public hospital operational systems. Demonstrates effective interpersonal skill, strategic planning organizational skills, leadership qualities and supervisory skills.
Duties
- Partake in the production od high-quality diagnostic radiographer a 24/7 service department. Partake in supervising community service radiographers and student radiographers. To promote Batho Pele in execution of all tasks for efficient service delivery. To adhere to National Core Standards, Quality Assurance and other Public Service Policies and Acts. Assist in stock control. Ensure patient safety and fair treatment
