A reputable food manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Safety Co‑Ordinateur to ensure compliance with all food safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of food safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, etc.)
• Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and certification requirements
• Train and support staff on food safety practices and hygiene
• Manage non‑conformances and implement corrective / preventive actions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections
• Liaise with production, QA, and external auditors

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) + Qualification in Food Safety, Food Technology, or Quality Management
• Minimum 23 years experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and food safety legislation
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Computer literate (MS Office, Excel, etc.)
