Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in South Africa seeks a qualified accountant to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and ensure compliance with regulations. Candidates should have a BCom in Accounting and completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software are essential. The successful candidate will oversee tax management, conduct audits, and advise on process improvements. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and managing the organization's cash flow.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in developing annual budgets and monthly forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
- Oversee tax payments and preparation of tax returns.
- Advise on financial process improvements.
- Manage cash flow to meet obligations.
