A consulting firm in Durban is seeking a financial management professional with a BCom degree and at least 5 years of experience in the trucking industry. Responsibilities include managing insurance income, ensuring compliance with legislation, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has a strong proficiency in accounting and experience in credit evaluation and financial statement analysis.
Management and control of Financial and Insurance income and expenditure.
Staying abreast of changes in FAIS legislation.
Ensuring that every financed transaction is paid within the time limits.
Providing high level of customer service.
Ensuring compliance with the company policies and procedures.
Handling all customer queries with clarity and courtesy thereby ensuring customer satisfaction.
Ensuring that all managers and salespeople are well-informed of all finance facilities and insurance options available.
Ensuring accurate processing of finance contracts.
BCom degree or equivalent qualification which includes a proficiency in accounting as the core subjects ideal.
Must come from trucking industry.
5 years’ work experience in the field of insurance, asset financing, credit evaluation, bad dept collection and contract administration
Must have experience with analyzing and vetting financial statements, reviewing bank accounts, and engaging in business discussions with prospective clients.
Must have experience with company applications in the commercial truck segment
