Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Offshore Finance Associate to support the operational finance functions of a private equity fund manager.

This role will work closely with the Financial Controller and contribute to financial reporting, compliance, portfolio tracking, and investment operations.

All outputs will be reviewed and approved by the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare accurate and timely month-end journals and management reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other accounts in Xero.
• Assist in preparing and updating the rolling 24-month financial budget.
• Support the preparation and lodgement of regulatory compliance reports (AFSL, FIRB, AusIndustry).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial policies, systems, and processes.
• Assist external advisers with tax compliance matters (GST, FBT, Income Tax).
• Support the annual audit process for the Fund, GP entity, and AFSL.

Portfolio Valuation, Performance & Tracking

• Collect and collate financial and operational data from portfolio companies.
• Assist in preparing quarterly valuations of portfolio companies.
• Maintain and update models consolidating fund and portfolio performance.
• Prepare quarterly investor reports and summary decks.
• Support fortnightly reporting processes for portfolio companies.

Investments, Funding & Other

• Assist with capital calls, loan drawdowns, and capital planning.
• Perform bank reconciliations related to investment and funding activities.
• Track and manage loan facilities and related documentation.

Working Style & Communication

• Daily communication with the Financial Controller.
• Weekly status reports to track progress and priorities.
• All tasks subject to review and approval before finalisation.

Growth Opportunities

This role is expected to evolve over time, with opportunities to take on more responsibility in financial analysis, reporting, and portfolio support as familiarity with the business grows.

Work Schedule

6am to 3pm Manila

Work Location

Hybrid, Eastwood Quezon City Office.

Willing to work onsite at least 2-3x per week.
