Job summary
A well-established concern in Stellenbosch is seeking a Logistics Administrator. The role involves managing transport databases, handling client queries, and providing general administration support. Ideal candidates should possess a relevant diploma/degree and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential for success in this fast-paced logistical environment.
Qualifications
- Relevant Diploma / Degree is advantageous.
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar position.
- Excellent communication skills, well versed in e‑mail etiquette.
Responsibilities
- Assist with feeding all load data into computer database.
- Manage transporter database and handle transport-related queries.
- Register transporters and ensure GIT insurance is in place.

- Daily administration function – assistance with feeding all load data into computer database; reconciliation of PODs and loading weights, upon request from logistical team.
- Managing transporter database.
- Handling of client, transport and supplier related queries.
- Registering transporters and ensuring GIT insurance is in place.
- Good communication with counterparties.
- Managing GIT database.
- General administrative support.

- Collecting of POD’s.
