Job Description

Our client, a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, is looking for a Senior ESG Consultant. The candidate will provide support and leadership in the fields of:

• Environmental assessment
• Sustainable development
• Strategic environmental planning

Responsibilities:

1. Manage EIA projects.
2. Compile proposals and reports.
3. Coordinate project schedules.
4. Manage budgets.
5. Appoint and manage specialists.
6. Facilitate stakeholder engagement.
7. Develop and sustain new business and client relationships.
8. Mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Registered EAP or Pr.Sci.Nat.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport.
• Willingness to travel within and outside South Africa.
• Experience in managing ESIAs in South Africa and internationally. Experience in allied specialist sub-disciplines (e.g., biodiversity, socio-economic assessment, air quality, climate change) is advantageous.
