Job description
What will you do?
  • Develop new sales opportunities and address the needs of major accounts.
  • Build a robust, profitable project pipeline through channel partners and end-users.
  • Manage monthly orders, sales performance, and weekly backlog for assigned accounts.
  • Create and execute plans to convert customers from competitors, emphasizing Schneider Electric’s value proposition.
  • Gather business intelligence on pricing, competition, product positioning, and channel partners.
  • Act as a consultant and trusted advisor, providing technical expertise across Schneider Electric’s product range.
  • Prepare strategic proposals and manage orders to meet customer expectations.
  • Negotiate pricing and analyse market conditions to improve margins.
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with key decision-makers to ensure high customer satisfaction.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a Trade-tested Electrical Higher National Diploma (minimum N3); a business administration degree is advantageous.
  • 5–10 years of relevant sales experience in Electrical Distributors/Wholesalers.
