Job summary

A leading global energy management company is looking for a Sales Account Manager in Durban to develop new sales opportunities and manage major accounts. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a technical diploma and 5–10 years of sales experience in Electrical Distributors/Wholesalers. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as the candidate will need to foster strong relationships with key decision-makers and navigate market conditions for improved profitability.

  • Act as a consultant and trusted advisor, providing technical expertise across Schneider Electric’s product range.
  • Prepare strategic proposals and manage orders to meet customer expectations.
  • Negotiate pricing and analyse market conditions to improve margins.
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with key decision-makers to ensure high customer satisfaction.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
