Job summary

POSITION INFO

Location: Strydom Park, Randburg

REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Buyer Administrator/Procurement Administrator
  • Must be fluent in Afrikaans (non-negotiable)
  • Must reside in the Northern/Western Suburbs of JHB (non-negotiable)
  • Imports experience
  • Incoterms Knowledge
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensuring that all stock is ordered when minimum levels are reached and expediting of orders to ensure prompt delivery.
  • Creating purchase orders
  • Issuing purchase orders to suppliers
  • Issuing documents to freight forwarders
  • Tracking of open orders
  • Tracking of Import shipments
  • Expediting orders and ensuring prompt dispatch from suppliers
  • Liaising with local and international suppliers
  • Liaising with freight forwarders
  • Liaising with sales team, production and QC
  • Support the Management as required
  • Import process
  • Knowledge of Inco Terms
  • Calculating of landed cost
  • Compiling Reports
