Catering Operations Manager
Job summary
A catering company in Singapore is seeking a Catering Operations Manager to lead the operations team and ensure high standards in service and logistics. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience and excel in customer service and teamwork. The role requires the ability to manage various catering needs and maintain client relationships. Shift work, as well as compliance with hygiene standards, is necessary for this position. A class 3 driving license is a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience required.
- Customer service skills to interact well with clients.
- Ability to manage and work effectively in shifts and fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Catering Operations team to fulfill clients' needs.
- Monitor logistics and standards for catering events.
- Maintain relationships with clients and address complaints.
Skills
- Provide leadership and guidance to Catering Operations team
- Work closely with operations, sales and kitchen team to ensure the clients’ needs are met
- Oversee and monitor all operations and logistics for all catering events
- Manage manpower planning to suit different catering needs
- Monitor service, food and beverage standards and resolve any issues if necessary
- Build and maintain good working relationship with clients and handle customer complaints
- Monitor and maintain vehicle standard, food quality, service standard & smooth running of the catering office and central kitchen
- Understanding with and complying with the mandatory hygiene standards and requirements
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field
- Excellent customer service and able to interact well with clients
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Possess class 3 driving license with clean records and good driving skills will be an advantage
