Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring the efficient management and control of activities in the assigned division/LOBs and achieving agreed service levels and objectives. Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

Roles & Responsibilities
Operational
  • Coordinate with vendors and customers on daily timelines and schedules; follow up on all daily operational activities to ensure timely completion and ensure adherence to agreed quality standards.
  • Track and monitor deadlines; manage lapse in delivery of logistics services.
  • Accept, verify and process all paperwork required for logistics movements in the assigned area; follow up on rejected or missing paperwork.
  • Check and verify invoices and handle billing processes.
  • Attend regular meetings with local logistics service providers to discuss current issues.
  • Respond to queries and maintain good relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Execute operational policies and procedures.
  • Support in preparing reports for stakeholders.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in company policies and local regulations; ensure compliance and highlight non-conformance to Supervisor/Manager.
  • Identify and improve processes to increase efficiency and minimize mistakes.
  • Maintain and mitigate operational risk and ensure compliance to safety at site.
