Working with our innovative engineering team, you'll help bring medicines to the world even faster by imagining what’s possible and taking action.

What You Will Achieve

Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.

Your prior work experience and ability to apply your breadth of knowledge will help you adapt the standard methods and procedures. You will help us identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.

The incumbent will be responsible to maintain site-wide equipment and facilities, achieving high equipment reliability in compliance with cGMP, EHS and regulatory requirements in a cost-effective manner.

He will follow through the support, corrective, predictive & preventive maintenance and inspections.

How You Will Achieve It

• Manage own time, professional development, and accountable for own results.
• Prioritize own workflow and assist in prioritizing the workflow of less-experienced colleagues.
• Make useful recommendations regarding improved machine performance.
• Follow safety procedures, recommended practices, job safety analysis (JSA), safe work permits and complies with plant safety programs at all time.
• Coordinate maintenance and project manager activities with production personnel to minimize downtime.
• Know general shop safety practices, including handling and storage of potentially dangerous equipment.
• Perform Preventive/Predictive Maintenance of plant equipment and facilitiesto ensure highreliabilityand availability.
• Read and follow equipment schematics and engineering drawings.
• Analyze equipment and line problems and implement resolutions.
• Instruct other technicians in the intricacies of assigned machinery and equipment.
• Perform maintenance activities according to procedures, good engineering practices andcGMP.
• SupporttodevelopPreventive Maintenance SOP/Procedures and tasks to maintain plant assets.
• Conduct trouble-shooting and locate sources of problemsby observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using measuringinstrumentsand testing instruments for trouble shooting.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives andsupport(IRS/QAR) investigations.
• Supportproject construction and commissioning of plant equipment and systems throughactiveinvolvementin punch listing and commissioning activities; discuss equipment improvement and modifications with Supervisor/Engineers.
• Maintain asafeandcleanworkingenvironmenton areas under one’sresponsibility.
• Complete all assigned training on-time and also prior to workimplementation.
• Contributeto team effort by accomplishing desired results/KPIs.

KPI’s include:

• Safety incident / lost time
• Repeated work orders

Qualifications

• GCE “O” level, NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering related qualifications
• Minimum5years of relevant experiences in pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical industriesfor Senior position and Minimum2years for Junior position.
• Certification in assigned area, if applicable
• Computer skills, good written and verbal English communication skills
• Able todemonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge inMechanical Equipment Troubleshooting and Analysis Skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management System, current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and RightFirst Timetechnique.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment operations and maintenance skill and knowledge with experience in working in a team performance matrix environment.
