  • Lead Modernisation: Strategically plan and execute the evolution of our applications from legacy .NET Framework to the latest .NET releases, ensuring our technology remains cutting-edge.
  • Be the Technical Authority: Champion deep, hands‑on expertise in both classic and modern .NET technologies, setting the bar for technical excellence and innovation.
  • Solid .NET Coding: Demonstrate outstanding .NET coding skills (4.8 and core) - mandatory.
  • Master SQL Server: Own all aspects of SQL Server - designing and optimising stored procedures, managing databases, driving performance, ensuring security, and enforcing best practices.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges with a 360‑degree perspective, delivering robust solutions and continuous improvements.
  • Performance & Security: Drive application performance, optimisation, and security management, ensuring our solutions are resilient and future‑proof.

Essential
  • 8+ years .NET development (.NET Framework & Core/6/8)
  • 3+ years leading modernization/migration projects
  • Proven .NET 4.8 → .NET Core/8/9 migrations
  • Microservices architecture experience
  • Azure production experience (App Service, Azure SQL, AKS preferred)
  • Team leadership (3-5 developers minimum)
  • SQL Server expertise (optimization, migration)
