Job summary
A prominent construction firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician to operate and maintain production and testing equipment. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth operations through routine maintenance and compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate holds an ITE or Polytechnic Diploma in a relevant technical field and possesses basic knowledge of hand tools. This role demands reliability, attention to detail, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production and laboratory equipment.
- Calibrate and verify machines and tools.
- Comply with safety regulations and quality requirements.
Skills
Education
- Operate, monitor, and maintain production, testing, or laboratory equipment by following SOPs.
- Perform routine calibrations, verification, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting or repair work to ensure smooth operation and minimize operational downtime.
- Assist in setup, calibration, and verification of machines, tools, and measurement instruments.
- Support senior or lead technicians during more complex maintenance, testing, calibration, or equipment-related tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, inspections, calibration results, and repair; promptly report any abnormalities, defects, or safety concerns.
- Comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, company safety guidelines, and quality requirements at all times.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, to enhance maintenance practices, workflow efficiency, equipment handling, housekeeping, and workplace safety.
- Perform other related technical or operational duties as assigned.
- ITE, Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, maintenance tools, machine operation, and standard workshop practices.
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn; able to work under supervision and follow technical instructions.
- Able to work in a fast‑paced operational environment and meet task timelines with accuracy and professionalism.
- Good attention to details, a hands‑on mindset, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
