A transportation company in Singapore is seeking a qualified candidate to develop and implement strategies for rail operations. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of experience in a rail operations or engineering environment, with a focus on stakeholder management and safety. Candidates should demonstrate leadership in a multi-disciplined team and knowledge of safety legislation.
Develop and implement development strategies and concepts relating to rail operations to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
Support review of operations plans, including contingency and exercise plans
Support the development of operations capabilities enabled by technology to enhance communication, sense making and decision making of rail operations
Develop and implement structured competency roadmaps for rail operations staff under the Rail Achiever Scheme
Work with HR/OD and Rail Training Institution to establish certification, accreditation, and continuous learning pathways
Provide subject matter expertise in operations to support both local and international rail tender bids.
Lead the operations work streams in mobilizations
Collaborate with Maintenance/Engineering, and Safety teams to ensure alignment of operations strategies and implementation
Engage with OEMs, PTOs, regulators, and industry partners to adopt best practices and shape industry standards
Perform other duties as directed by his/ her superiors.
