Job summary
A Singaporean construction company is seeking an experienced engineer to oversee compliance with construction specifications and manage the construction process. Candidates should have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and a Residential Engineer Certificate. The role demands strong problem-solving and communication skills and proficiency in engineering software. You will ensure all work aligns with safety regulations and project requirements within a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field required.
- Must possess a Residential Engineer Certificate.
- Good knowledge of industry methods and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
- Oversee all aspects of the construction process.
- Provide support as directed by the Superintending Officer.

- Ensure compliance with project specifications, construction drawings and the Building Control, Act and Regulations.
- Oversee all aspects of the construction process, including maintaining and submitting relevant records.
- Provide comprehensive support and assistance as directed by the Superintending Officer and/or Professional Engineer.
- Review and evaluate the Contractor's work procedures aligned with the approved method statements and relevant workplace safety and health regulations. Where necessary, instruct modifications to ensure full compliance.
- Conduct inspections of completed works and prepare a list of defects, if required.
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field'
- Required to possess a Residential Engineer Certificate
- Good knowledge about the industry, methods and regulations.
- Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example.
- Proficient in using engineering software and project management tools.
