Job summary
A construction company in Singapore is looking for an experienced professional to oversee hospital projects and ensure safety, quality, and budget controls. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or related fields and at least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a leadership role managing hospital projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years working experience in the construction industry.
- Preferably with experience in managing hospital projects as Deputy Project Director.
- Strong communication skills with relevant authorities and clients.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with authorities, clients, and consultants on project progress.
- Oversee hospital projects to ensure site safety, progress, quality, and budget control.
- Support Project Managers in managing site teams.
Skills
Education
- Liaising with the authorities, the client and the consultants on project progress
- Oversee hospital projects to ensure good site safety, progress, quality, cost and budget controls.
- Provide support to the Project Managers to effectively manage the site teams
- Familiar with the project cycle from commencement to handing over procedures with the authorities.
- Degree in Civil Engineering / Project Management / Building or its equivalent
- Minimum 10 years working experience in construction industry
- Preferably with experience in managing hospital projects as Deputy Project Director
- Strong communication skill with the relevant authorities, the client and the consultants
- Strong leadership in managing project teams
- Able to work as team player as well as function as team leader
