Job summary

A leading recruiting agency is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Executive located in the Boon Lay Area, Singapore. The position entails overseeing food production, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and performing regular checks on processes. Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented, collaborative, and proficient in MS Office. A diploma in Food Science or related fields, along with familiarity with food safety standards, is preferred. This role works 5 days a week from 9 am to 6 pm.

Qualifications

• Must be a collaborative team member, able to work closely with production staff, buyers, and packaging specialists.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy.
• Quick to learn and open to self-improvement.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment (10°C to 15°C).
• Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with local and international food safety standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food production to ensure all processes meet food safety standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist implement and sustain ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, Halal, and SFA standards and related documentation.
• Carry out regular checks of production processes and in-process products to ensure compliance.
• Assist with inspections, audits, and visits, and track corrective actions and documentation as necessary.
• Promptly report any deviations or non-conformances in products or processes to the relevant manager.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned.
