Job summary
A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is looking for a Quality Control Executive. In this role, you will ensure factory cleanliness, conduct thorough checks on raw materials and finished products, and assist in training new staff. Successful candidates should have a Diploma in Food Science or related fields, with at least one year of relevant experience in the food industry. This position offers a salary range of $2,700 to $3,000 with a five-day work week.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in the food industry or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of microbial, sensory, and visual assessments.
Responsibilities
- Inspect factory equipment cleanliness before production.
- Conduct checks on raw materials and finished products.
- Report quality issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with departments for inspections.
- Verify certificates for raw materials.
- Provide training for new staff.
- Assist with audits and maintain records.
- Perform equipment calibration.
- Manage inventory and uphold lab cleanliness.
- Issue Certificates of Analysis for materials.

5 days Mon to Fri Working time: 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Factory equipment cleanliness inspection before production.
- Conduct thorough checks on raw materials and finished products for quality, including microbial, sensory, and visual assessments.
- Promptly report any quality issues to supervisors for investigation and resolution.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule material inspections and sampling.
- Verify certificates to ensure raw materials meet standards before use.
- Provide training for new staff members.
- Assist with audits, both internal and external.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Perform equipment calibration as required.
- Manage inventory and uphold lab cleanliness.
- Issue Certificates of Analysis for materials and products.
- Support with additional tasks assigned by the company.
- Oversees the overall quality control function.
- Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Food Science and Technology, Food, Nutrition & Culinary science related.
- At least 1 year experience in food industry / manufacturing
