Job summary
A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to ensure accurate input of shipment information, coordinate with vendors, and monitor performance KPIs. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Sea Freight, possess strong communication skills, and be a proactive team player. Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years working experience in Sea Freight.
- High initiative with good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate input of shipment information.
- Coordinate with sales team and vendors.
- Monitor own performance and KPI.
Skills
Education
- Ensure accurate and timely input of shipment information into system.
- Coordinate with sales team and vendors to ensure service quality to clients.
- To monitor own performance and upkeep of individual KPI / KRA.
- Resolve and rectify any failure in system process and operational issues, if not escalation to superior.
- Align and support corporate’s direction and policies and inclined to BPO’s approach for standardization of process and increase Productivity and KPI.
- Pricing and Procurement knowledge is an added advantage (if any)
- Knowledgeable in freight forwarding industry process.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior / department manager.
- Minimum 'O Level and above with 2 year working experience in Sea Freight.
- Possess high initiative with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Positive attitude with strong mindset to embrace system processes and must be a good team player in a fast paced environment.
- Positive mindset and good time management to complete task within specific timeline.
- High attention to detail who is meticulous, attentive and proactive.
- Preferably candidates who can commence work within a short notice period.
