Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a high-performing Business Development candidate to join their freight forwarding team. The ideal candidate is a hunter-type salesperson with a strong client portfolio in freight logistics. Responsibilities include prospecting for new clients, promoting logistics solutions, and developing long-term client relationships. Competitive salary and commission structure offered.

Location: Jurong East

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

We are expanding and looking for a high-performing Business Development candidate to join our freight forwarding team. If you are a 100% hunter-type salesperson with a strong client portfolio in Freight logistics, we want to hear from you.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Actively prospect and secure new clients, mainly for Sea Freight services (import/export)
  • Promote and sell customized logistics solutions
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure long-term business growth
  • Coordinate with operations for seamless shipment handling
  • Prepare proposals, follow up on leads, and achieve agreed sales targets
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of proven Freight sales (hunting) experience
  • Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and Incoterms
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and target-oriented
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary: S$5,000 – S$6,000 (depending on experience and client base)

Commission: Attractive commission scheme (to be discussed during interview)

Reimbursements: Mobile phone bills, transport, and entertainment expenses (claimable with receipts)
