Power Trader
Job summary
A leading investment firm in Singapore is seeking a Power Trader to join their shift team focusing on intraday power trading, specifically in the European market. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience in trading within Hedge Funds, Trading Houses, or Banks. Strong analytical skills, professional demeanour, and eagerness to learn are critical for success in this dynamic trading environment. Weekend shifts are required.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of power or gas trading focused experience in Hedge Funds, Trading Houses, Prop Desks or Banks.
- Ability to keep up with a fast-paced trading environment.
- Professional demeanour with an eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a shift team including weekends.
- Execute trading strategies in the power intraday market focused on European Power.
- Generate investment ideas through fundamental analysis.
- Ensure secure handling of physical obligations.

The Power Trader will be based in our Singapore office as part of a shift team focusing on power intraday.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Power Trader working as part of a shift team including weekends
- Executing trading strategies in the power intraday market with key focus on European Power
- Continuously generating investment ideas by conducting fundamental analysis
- Ensuring the secure handling of physical obligations
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent from a reputable university.
1-3 years of power or gas trading focused experience across but not limited to Hedge Funds, Trading Houses, Prop Desks or Banks.
Keeping up with the fast-paced nature of the trading environment.
Strong analytical capability.
Ambitious and commercial savvy. Professional demeanour with an eagerness to learn. Strong trading acumen.
