- Establish and maintain PMO governance frameworks, methodologies, and standards, including budgeting, budget tracking, and risk management.
- Mentor and develop project managers, fostering professional growth and high performance through direct involvement and coaching.
- Collaborate with senior executives to prioritize projects, allocate resources, and influence strategic decisions that impact project outcomes.
- Monitor portfolio performance, manage risks, and ensure timely, transparent reporting to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and tools, leading by example in adopting best practices.
- Represent the PMO in executive forums, actively influencing organizational strategy and ensuring that project outcomes align with business objectives.
- Proven experience (15+ years) in project and portfolio management within financial technology or financial services, with a track record of hands‑on project delivery.
- Demonstrated success in leading and directly managing enterprise‑level technology programs and portfolios.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience mentoring and working closely with senior project managers.
- Expertise in PMO governance, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and best practices, with a willingness to be directly involved in project execution.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced proficiency in portfolio management tools and reporting systems.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Technology, or related field (Masters preferred).
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives and emerging fintech technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial services.
- Strong change management and organizational development capabilities.
- Exposure to global project delivery and cross‑cultural team leadership.
