Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced M&E Manager to oversee a team of coordinators and Modellers. The candidate will coordinate M&E works, manage technical meetings, and ensure compliance with specifications. Ideal candidates should have a degree in M&E, at least 10 years of experience in large scale projects, and strong leadership and communication skills. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience as an M&E Manager in large scale projects.
• Experience in supervision of M&E building services works.
• Knowledge of CCSM/SEM coordination for projects of similar scale.

Job description

Job Description:

• Responsible for managing a team of M&E coordinators and BIM Modellers in the design and coordination works;
• Attend technical and site meetings with consultants;
• Study M&E drawings and coordinate M&E works with the consultants and sub-contractors to resolve any technical / site issues;
• Interfacing or M&E planning, coordination with consultants and document control such as monitoring of sample submission, approval status of drawing
• Coordinating, organizing and preparing construction and Interfacing/M&E documents and drawing
• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications / drawings;
• Inform Project Director / Project Manager on any technical / site problems
• Supervise the progress of works on site;
• Coordination of sub-contractor's work and ensuring the work is on schedule.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in M&E recognized by PEB or with a BCA M&E coordination certificate
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience as M&E Manager in large scale projects, Office Building experience is an advantage. Experience in supervision of M&E building services works and in Coordinated Combined Services Models (CCSM) / Structural Electrical Mechanical Drawings (SEM) coordination for projects of similar scale and complexity.
• The Project Coordinator (M&E) shall ensure M&E related works including the Interfacing Contractors, architectural works and architectural interior design works carried out as per Coordinated Installation Programme, Coordinated Combined Services Models, Reflected Ceiling Plans and Structural Electrical Mechanical Drawings.
