A global crane repair company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Service Engineer to troubleshoot and repair marine deck machinery including Windlasses and Hatch Covers. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in inspection and repair, in-depth knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems, and the ability to lead repair projects effectively. This role demands technical report writing skills and effective communication with owners' representatives.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years' experience in inspection, troubleshooting and repairing Windlasses & Hatch Covers.
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic & mechanic marine machinery.
• Able to independently troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical and electrical problems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out field service attendances to troubleshoot & repair Windlasses, Hatch Covers, Marine Cranes and Davits.
• Supervise a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer.

To support our Singapore Deck Machinery Dept., we are employing experienced Senior Service Engineers -Marine Cranes &Deck Machinery as follows:

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To carry out field service attendances to troubleshoot & repair Windlasses, Hatch Covers, Marine Cranes and Davits.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have solid working experience with deck machinery makers such as:

• Aker Solutions
• Hatlapa
• IHI
• Kawasaki
• MacGREGOR
• Masada
• Mitsubishi
• Pusnes, Nippon Pusnes
• TTS Marine

The successful candidate will have:

• Min 5 years' experience in inspection, troubleshooting and repairing Windlasses & Hatch Covers.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of hydraulic & mechanic marine machinery.
• Be able to independently troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical and electrical problems.
• Able to supervise a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer on board, on voyage and in Ship Yards.
• Able to write technical reports and able to communicate with owners' representatives.
• Previous employment as service engineer with leading deck machinery manufacturers will be an added advantage.
