Overview
  • Position : Marine Service Technician
  • Location : Toh Guan
  • Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday, Office Hours
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,000 Basic + Incentives + Performance Bonus 10 Days Annual Leave
  • Duration : Perm
  • Industry : Marine
Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of marine deck equipment, including winches, cranes, and hydraulic power units (HPU).
  • Read, interpret, and work with hydraulic and electrical schematics for fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Provide technical service support on board vessels and at shipyards.
  • Conduct service works mainly in Singapore and China, with regional travel to shipyards in Southeast Asia and other locations as required.
  • Liaise with internal technical teams, production facilities, and clients to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Prepare service reports and maintain proper documentation after each assignment.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum Nitec in Marine / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in marine, offshore, or shipyard environments
  • Willingness to travel locally and overseas for work assignments
  • Candidates needs to have mandarin language proficiency to communicate with Mandarin speaking customers
